I finally did get my decorating pretty much finished for now....I will share a few more pictures with you..

I got this primitive scarecrow runner off Ebay...I have purchased an assortment of holiday runners from this same sweet lady and just love them....My milk bottles filled with Marigolds from my garden...
I found an assortment of these cute pumpkin baskets last year at Walmart and I have my favorite fall flavor of soy candle in it....

Tuesday - Burrito Pie, Rice and Beans.
Wednesday - Grilled Ribeye Steaks seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning, Wild Rice, Grilled asparagus, Cornmeal drop bisquits.
Thursday - Rice, Chicken and Broccoli Casserole with cheese I use this recipe but add the cooked broccoli and cheese, Blueberry Muffins.
Friday - Off Camping and to the Nascar Races in KC. TGIF!

Quick Spaghetti Sauce Recipe - this is more of a sweet sauce recipe....
1. Brown hamburger with chopped onions.
2. Add 1 can of tomato soup with 3/4 can water or Beef Broth for more flavor if you like.
3. A few tablespoons Worchestershire sauce.
4. A couple shakes of Oregano.
5. A couple tablespoons of brown sugar and simmer. Add cooked spaghetti and your set! My husband likes a more savory sauce but this is what I grew up with and love.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars!
Crust
1 & 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
5 tablespoons butter, melted
2/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325°F. Butter a 9″-square baking pan (I used a 9" round pan and cut the final dessert into pie-shaped pieces). Line pan with parchment paper (I used foil), leaving enough to extend over the sides. Lightly coat the parchment paper/foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter until crumbs are moistened. Stir in chocolate chips. Press crust mixture into bottom of pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Set pan on wire rack to cool.
Cookie Dough
5 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour (I found the cookie dough was a bit stiff with this much flour, next time I think I'll cut it down by 1/8th of a cup)
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Using an electric mixer, mix butter, brown sugar, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract at medium speed until smooth. Decrease mixer speed to low and add flour. Mix just until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside.
Filling
10 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar just until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract, beating just until blended. Pour batter into baked crust. Drop cookie dough by teaspoonfuls over the top of the filling.
Bake about 30-35 minutes, or until set. Transfer to wire rack.
For chocolate topping, melt 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave. (Tip: put the chocolate chips into a zipper bag and heat on 50% power for a few minutes. Cut the corner off the bag and squeeze the bag to make drizzling less messy). Use a teaspoon to drizzle chocolate over top of bars. Cool bars in pan completely, about an hour. (Stick the bars in the freezer for 5 minutes to set quickly if you're in a hurry).
Using the edges of the parchment paper/foil, remove bars from pan. Cut into bars (clean the knife after each cut) and serve. Thanks http://www.mykitchencafe.blogspot.com/.

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days but I have been a busy girl! Doing what you say......decorating of course!... The weather in Nebraska has been just heavenly. I spent most of my Saturday doing nothing but being outdoors enjoying it, cleaning up, doing this and that and just listening to some of my favorite music.....etc. Here is a little peak of a few of my favorite things.......

I am the luckiest woman to be able to crawl out of bed in the morning and go straight in my office and work in my jammies! hehe....I am the luckiest of people to be able to work out of my home everyday. This week I am starting a wee bit early so I can get off and have a full day of fall decorating. By early I am meaning 4 a.m. ?..yes you heard me right...I am working from 4: a.m. until 10 a.m. As I was sitting at my computer working today this is a view I see and love....
As you can see I have this beautiful stained glass windown perched in my window sill and outside is my fall decorated window box. I have adorned my home from room to room with stained glass. I just love them so much. I often wonder where this little whimsical window came from and wished I knew its story.
Ok, now I want you to fully appreciate what extent that I do go every season to make my home cozy comfy as I like it to be. It does cross my mind at times to not go to so much work BUT..as you can see...it never comes to be...I can't stop myself...It is just who I am and what I love to do I guess :) In a few minutes I am going to walk into my guest room that is cluttered with all the decor for me to disperse around my home...Don't be overwhelmed now....I will give you a sneak peek....
I know........it is like a scavenger hunt I tell you !....Anyway I did manage to do a little bit of decorating in the living room and will share but mostly I have been moving furniture, sweeping dust bunnies...Oh yes they live here in herds around me, and just fall cleaning. Are there people that still fall window wash? I did start on my mantle above the TV....I still have a few quirks to get out before I am completely happy with it...but I love these roosters I found in a magazine many moons ago...They are just a hoot....
They have been through it all...indoors, outdoors...and now they reside here for now anyway...like I said I have to tweek it yet....it's not perfect for me anyway...
Well I am off to the clutter zone...think of me and I WILL be back to share with you more....

The campsite called today and we are going campin!..I love taking our camper out with my honey and taking my doggie girls along with...They are such good campers and can't wait to go along! I wish each and every one of you to have a safe and very relaxing weekend!
I know I have been talking for weeks about fall decorating but darn it after moving box after box out of my basement of decorations I finally got started! I am sharing a few from the front of my house, my front porch, window box..etc.

I love this primitive cupboard I found at this little antique shop a friend of mine owns.
I used to have a metal kitchen like this when I was a child so when I found this one in "pink" of all colors I had to buy it. Anything pink is MINE!.....
This is my dining room looking into the living room.....I used vintage pillow cases to cover the back of my chairs with of course my vintage hankies that I have throughout my home.....
I made this centerpiece out of an old thermos jug and my flowers were inspired from a picture I have hanging in my hallway.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I just love decorating for the holiday, although it is such a big deal in my house. I don't know about you but I have endless piles of holiday decorations boxed away in my basement and it takes at least a week to sort through, decide on a decorating theme and disperse my ideas indoors and outdoors. I always purchase tons of country magazines to get ideas and this is one of my favorite covers I love right now. I love the idea of using hedge apples in a fall grapevine wreath. I am going to have to enlist my honey to gather some for me. Love this......
I love the hedge apple wreath and the flower box with gourds and pumpkins with a pinch of bittersweet...Vision this on my garage and front window box....A hedge apple grapevine wreath on the garage door maybe?......

I was also thinking of using Mums in my washtubs along side my garage doors as above. I am not familiar with Mums in general...do they continuously bloom in the fall or do they only bloom once and then are done? I would want them to bloom as above. You know when you buy them they usually come blooming and they do not last long, ya know? I am going to have to purchase quite a few gourds and pumpkins..! I love finding ideas and trying to incorporate them into my own theme. I haven't gotten the gourd luminaries I ordered for my front porch but am expecting them this week and I am so excited. If anyone has any creative ideas for me I would LOVE to hear from you. I keep coming back to these pictures for inspiration and just wanted to share with you.
