Spring is in the Air, yes it is. You can't help but feel energized and rejuvenated when you see the first Robin and wake up hearing the birds chirping. We have had a week of beautiful weather here in Nebraska in the 50s, 60s and even a day in the 70s. I finally got my winter decor all down but not yet put away. My spare bedroom is a muck. I now have a fresh clean canvas to work with for my spring decorating which makes me a very happy girl. I have felt a bit stagnant and needed this little boost to energize me. Nothing like a little warm weather to bring people out walking with their pets or family even though what it brings to my environment is a barking madhouse, but my baby girls Maisie and Gabriella rule the roost, what we do for our little 4 footed friends :) They love you unconditionally. The snow is almost gone and the grass is breathing and getting ready to green up and bring life to a dull humdrum yard. Yes, Spring has sprung I am hopeful. I love when the days get longer..you can sit outside on the porch swing and breath in the smells of life and hope. Here are a few glimpses of vintage springtime that I have already utilized to inspire me in this moment....In a few days spring will have sprung in my vintage home, it will be full of the springtime smells, colors and full of life...I cannot wait, it energizes me and makes me smile.
This is a banner I had made for me from Sweet Ms. Cherry from Cherry's Jubilee.
I love this vintage picture with the chickadees..It screams of springtime. I have this hanging in my dining room.
Vintage waterers and birdhouses, some of my loves. You can see that I love pink. I have saved every rose I've gotten and dried it to utilize in decorating. Vintage speaks history and history tells a story. My home is full of memories and the past, it speaks to me everyday.
Life is what we make of it. Everyone needs a little energizing and find what brings joy and happiness to your heart whether that be in decorating or whatever brings you joy.
A Friend from the Heart :)

Such beautiful things! I love that picture in your dining room...how sweet! I feel the same way...I want to add the colors of spring in my house. The only problem is when I look outside, I see SNOW!
